Reading Kenyan goes to the Hay Festival

The Hay Festival continues to grow, and to fulfil its billing as the Woodstock of the mind. Stephen Wanyama and his girl-friend are attending this year, as are Wangari Maathai, Ohan Parmuk and Gordon Brown. Baaba Mal will be there too, along with a world of book lovers, and book sellers. TI's Global Corruption Report 2007

Collins Mbalo looks through another bad report from Transparency International which this year focuses on the judiciary. While bemoaning the great mistakes that the Kibaki government, this article also gives it credit for the many changes that have been undertaken in the last year, and hopes for a contiunation along the reform path.
