Blame the Leader

It is vital that we think of this now, because the campaigns for the 2007 general election are already taking a similar tenor. Candidates are already being proclaimed as elixirs, remedies for every Kenyan woe. Previous careers under governments that have brought ruin to our nation are brushed under the carpet as are crimes against the state and the people. We feed these megalomaniacal tendencies every time we cheer them on as panaceas for our national ailments. And it does get to their heads. No wonder they treat us like slaves.
